Been chasing a CEL of P0171, Lean Bank 1, for about 6 months now. Finally dropped it off at the shop. They called me today stating my fuel pressure from the pump was low compared to what it is rated to be at.

My question, would a fuel pump "go out" but continue to pump low pressure for 6 months? Or would a defective fuel pump bit the dust long before 6 months?

    Thanks
    -Josh

Fuel filter is new. I'll check regulator. Any input on location?
