    I have 2009 SR5 Access cab 5 speed with the 2.7 4cyl

I have a leaking rear shock I thinking of changing out myself after watching a few videos and reading a bunch I'm not worried.. I also am thinking about trying the fronts. I however am worried about about compressing the spring. How hard is it to do with the compressors you can rent at an auto store? I was thinking about getting bilstiein 5100 but also considering get a low milage take off. With that if mind I have seen them that are the full assembled with the spring already installed would that be a way to go? Anything else that I should think about or upgrades that would be beneficial when I do this?

Here is a video for reference. No compressor used. If you don't have any experience though, I would get someone that does.

Most of those rented compressors from the auto stores are junk. I would suggest a heavier duty compressor if you go that route
