No "kinda" about it. They tried to ass rape him with no lube and no reach around. I fuckin hate shady dealers... which is to say, I don't like any of them.

Guys, guys, guys! I appreciate your concern, but I am otherwise very happy with this dealer. Its okay that they don't want to do the install themselves. They didn't do anything to force me to take that deal, which I quickly declined.

They are currently attempting to get my configuration, including the factory installed TRD exhaust, direct from the factory. If that doesn't pan out, I guess I'll be waiting for a 2015.

Apparently the blue is rare, and the navigation radio is rare, particularly in a Sport.

Did you have the same problem getting one? I've been paying attention. There are LOTS of Tacomas here, but not many Sports, and I have never seen the BRM on any version. I did see the older, much brighter blue on a double cab sport, kinda wish they'd have kept that shade.

I did not have that problem... I wanted a white one but there was not one in the state so I had a choice of blue or red so I went blue... This was in nov. 13. I have not seen another sport just off roads around here

I guess JDM Dad and I should trade states. Every other Tacoma here is white. The dealer's search turned up only 1 blue in the whole region, and it was ordered for a customer. 14Taco4x4 - you were apparently very lucky - sounds like the truck you got is exactly what I want.

Wrong it's a full system that replaces the stock exhaust from the cat back.

Looks, sounds, and slight performance. It's made out of SS and it also is less restrictive on air flow which means less back pressure.

I just think if the Dealer is giving you a good deal on your trade in, he should give you a decent deal on the new truck with the TRD exhaust. He is not doing anything to help you out when he is over charging for the exhaust. I would find another dealer.

As I said, he's giving me an "okay" amount off MSRP and a GREAT deal on my trade in... and he is working to find me a truck with the factory installed TRD exhaust - which he is not over charging me for. It was only if they found a matching truck without the exhaust and I wanted his shop to install it. If they do find a matching truck without the TRD exhaust, I'll just install it myself. No big deal.

Larrym04 I think you might be better off installing yourself... Like you said earlier what you are wanting is very rare. Now to add the exhuast on from factory as well is only making it more rare. I think I just got lucky with my truck that's it was just sitting on the lot but mine did not have the exhuast on it. I do plan on getting it tho...

The TRD Exhaust is a "Preference" not a "Requirement" with the dealer, he'll get it if he can, but won't pass on one that doesn't have it.

They are attempting to change one of the trucks that is already destined for them. It has everything I want but is long bed not short bed. Now that wouldn't sound like an easy change to me, I thought it would be a lot easier to change the color or the radio, but he said to let them work their magic.

...well, maybe the radio isn't as easy as just replacing the device in the dash as its the JBL speakers too.

You should have the dealer do a custom order from the factory. You'll get exactly what you want, but you'll have to wait about 6 weeks.

The factory stopped taking orders a couple weeks ago.

I'm not in a particular hurry. When I first started talking to the sales guy I'd brought my wife's Prius in for an oil change and just wanted to chat with him about 2015's.

It will be just fine with me if they can't get a 2014 with exactly what I want, I'll just get a 2015.
