Painting stock 17" sport wheels

    I've searched the forum and seen several threads of people painting their stock wheels black. I recently purchased the toytec ultimate lift and LR UCA's and I'm strapped for cash atm, so, here's an idea. I would like to paint the wheels, DC-1 style leaving the "spokes" machined and the inner rim black. Has anyone tried this? If so, post some pics please.

    Also, any tips surely would be appreciated.

    I think there are some folks who have done "negative space" type rims...Prep good the surfaces you want painted....Tape good the ones you don't. Can't wait to see it!!
