I"ve got a intermittant problem with the check engine light. It is a 2.7 L. When it comes on it misses badly but it goes off and seems to run fine. The trouble code say all four coils need replaced which to me seems very unlikely. The fixes besides all four coils include replacing the Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) and replacing the Ignition Coil Pack. Has anyone ever heard of this problem?

You pull any of the coils off and check for arching? If it's simple like that a little dielectric grease will probably fix it.
