I'm looking to change the both of the headlight assemblies on my 2009... As they have become clouded and foggy.
I've tried the restore kits with little result.

What are quality replacements besides OEM?

Hard to say since they have a good number of manufacturers out there. I'd say best bet would be Ebay since they have a large selection of OEM and aftermarkets.

I've looked at headlights and headlight reviews here on TW, Amazon, and eBay. I haven't purchased any yet, but it seems the old adage of "you get what you pay for" holds true of headlights for our trucks.

Anzo, Depo, and Spyder are likely the aftermarket brands you'll come across the most. If you shop on Amazon you'll be able to see reviews from other purchasers, which can make or break your decision to buy.

Why not use this as a reason to get a set of retros?

    Another thought....

Some people will buy aftermarket lights knowing that they will probably leak and fog up relatively quick. But before they install the lights they will seal them up with silicon to prevent any leaking and fogging. Just a thought in case you end up liking some lights with mixed reviews.

    X2!! :D
This is good advice. I'd reseal if you get aftermarkets just to play it safe. I need to redo mine cause the passenger side is leaking and I hate having to pop off the side marker light and turn signal light to air it out.

I meant that I've hear of people just putting silicone on the outside where the lens meets the housing. But resealing them is a great idea too.

I've tried silicone before but after a while it comes loose and doesnt hold a tight seal and wears out. I'm going to try something else next time around and hopefully that will seal it better. Anyone have any ideas on what would be better to use?

    Getting there...
Retros are awesome. AsianAnts did mine with aftermarket DEPO headlights. No fogging since I've had them.
