2006nightrider has 24s and he is slightly lowered I believe (stock front and 1" in the rear I think) but you will have a much rougher ride because you will have really low pro tires...

You could do 22s with no problems as far as I know, Its all about personal preference though I wouldnt go larger than 20 but to each his (or her ;)) own

    too many
yea I have 24's with stock front, 2" lowering blocks in rear...

I had 20's on it originally, then went to 22's...And IMO, the 22's felt best for the truck. I like my 24's but the ride is rougher.

With my 22's, I only had to cut a little bit of plastic in the front wheel well, and I think I was running 35-40 series tires...they barely rubbed when I turned the tires all the way

If you want to compare the sizes...go to my cardomain page and I have old pics of my truck back when I had 20's and 22's on it...kinda give you an idea what you lookin for.

    I was wondering which tires i should do for 22s on a 2006 x-runner. 265/35/22 or 245/30/22???

    ^^^

Depends on how wide your wheel is, and if you want a stretch or not, but normally I say wider is better cuz I usually think performance wise, but with 22's look up a tire calculator online and see what it suggests for you...

To the OP, are you looking for wheels to buy or just suggestions for now?

yea i just chose the 265, i could always cut the corner of the wheel well. smoother ride. i bought some 22s and i had a hard time figuring out what size tire.
