I decided to go with the CBI brackets because they kept the duallys out of my immediate vision. I did have to cut the plastic cowling to make them fit but they turned out pretty nice. Wiring them up was very easy.

Nice! I just put mine on this weekend, waiting for my lights to come in today or tmrw. How did you wire your lights up and put your switch? Any pics or ideas for that?

I haven't put the button on yet because I am going to do a custom switch board under my pioneer deck. I don't know if it will come out how i want it to but we'll see.

I am using the ashtray style bracket (wanted the one you have PCbuilder but have a DDin radio). Hope my ditch lights look good, gonna put em on tomorrow.

I wonder if the ditch light brackets would clear my snorkel? When you can could you get a picture from straight on and by the radio antenna. Looking for a side clearance shot. Thanks

Eh, that'll require cutting into the dash versus the bolt-on switch panel.

I want to add these brackets and lights, but an unsure what on light pattern to go with (spot/flood/driving/diffused).

What was your reasoning for going with flood and how do you like it in that location?

I put floods there and have them angled down and out so they hit everything my headlights miss. I am planning on a small light bar on the front bumper to give me that nice spot light distance that I don't get from the floods. But in the meantime, the floods and my stock brights do exactly what I wanted them too.

This is old..i know..but i have the spot beams and looking back i wish i had gone with floods or driving beams for that particular location. The spots are great and they are nice and bright however for this location you almost want them point out like OP does so they can cover the areas that bumper mounted lights won't cover. The spot beam is just a bit too concentrated to do this so i have them pointed forward a bit more than OP does.

Pretty sweet install! I think the hyperspots or the vision x 4.5" cannons are perfect for that spot.
