I just put new pads and rotors on my 2wd 99 tacoma xtra cab and went to drive down the road and hear a thumping sound. I have check the left wheel for the obvious wheel bearing gone bad and it won't move. Can you guys help I'm running out of options and it's aggravating me

Sounds like like ball joint, does it get worse when you turn the wheel in either direction? One direction? Could be work out front suspension a-arm too. toyota had a recall for ball joints a while ago, see if this covers your rig. probably way too late.

If it didn't make the noise, before you did the work, then blame the work. You did something wrong. If so, re-do it.

1st step and probably start on the left wheel......Much easier to take apart what you just did to RE-CHECK your work than "chase your tail" looking for a mystery..;)
