Got some on order through my brother in law. Just wondering what everyone's opinion on what is the best place to mount them. I've been thinking about going with FF's hood latch mount but curious as to my other options before I commit. My thought is the higher I mount them the better the disbursement of the light, yet, one of my friends pointed out that mounting them there could be a bad idea because it might light up my silver hood so bright that everything else might seem dim defeating the purpose of the lights.

    Any opinions?

What about bracket options? Do you think the famous fabrication ones are the best bang for the buck or are there other options. Don't really care for having to use make shift spacers like the ones in that thread

Lot more options for the 2nd gen then the first. I think CBI is the most popular. I dont offer any ditch brackets yet, but hopefully will pick up this brand soon
