    The westin 4inch Platinum Oval sidesteps on my '11 Tacoma suddenly started falling apart. The rubbber is breaking off and the adhesive underneath is running out.
    I contacted Westin and asked if they could send me replacement rubber pads and I would be glad to pay for them as i no longer have the receipt to verify purchase date. They responed one time to confirm whether I had the receipt. When I told them I did not, they never responded again. I then sent a photo of the steps and re-iterated that I would be glad to pay for the pads, though I bought the truck in June of 11 and the steps a month or so later. (3 year warranty). They still have not responded.
    i will be replacing the Westins very soon but it WILL NOT be with Westins.
