Took my truck in for its 10,000 mile oil change. After getting home I was looking at the paperwork and their check list. I noticed they use 10w-30 oil in the truck when on the filler cap it clearly stats 5w-30. Should I have them can he it to the recommended weight oil? Or should I just blow it off.

I'm not sure, but I think they use 10-30 in warm weather and 5-30 in the winter. I don't think I'd worry about it. They also might have wrote down the wrong grade of oil on the paperwork.

I thought about the weather changes and different oil but wasn't sure if they should since in the manual it stats a certain type.

just run 5w-30 all the time unless you are in like sub zero.

once the motor heats up its all technically the same 30 weight (10w vs 5w-30)
