My front suspension is getting old and Im looking for new options and would love some extended travel coil overs. Im researching some options and just have a few questions to help make my decision.

A: Does anyone know the extended/collapsed length of the 01-04 Tacoma Bilstein 5100's (BE5-D558-T0)? These are no longer offered by Bilstein and their site no longer lists them with specs. Im curious how much more travel a mid travel coilover will give and if its worth the $1,200.

B: According to Downsouth motor sports, the Fox specs are bellow and Im assuming Icon is similar if not the same:

    http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-7...-2004-extended-travel-factory-series-kit.html

    Fox Part# 880-02-409-A
    Extended Length: 20.12"
    Collapsed Length: 14.55"
    Shock shaft Travel: 5.57"
    Height Adjustment: 0"-3"

Now, Ive seen people run the Tundra 5100 series front shocks on tacoma's before. Below are the specs and they are about 1-2" shorter but similar/same travel. Except for the shock size (2.0 vs 2.5), would these be similar/as good as extended travel coilovers for a much lower price?

    http://cart.bilsteinus.com/productsearch/24-188265
    *Collapsed Length (IN): 13.23
    *Extended Length (IN): 18.68
    *Collapsed Length (MM): 336
    *Extended Length (MM): 474.5

    Total travel: 5.45"

According to wheelers, the Tacoma and Tundra 5100's are the same length. So basically my 5100's have the same travel as "extended travel" coil overs... What give?
