Got the following email and was wondering if this is a mass distributed email or if it was legit. Sorry for the formatting, I just did a straight copy/paste.

"On behalf of Toyota, Ingather, an independent marketing research firm is inviting select Tacoma owners to participate in an exclusive research study. We are conducting a comprehensive study on the wants and needs of truck owners like you. Your opinion will influence the design of the next generation Tacoma!

The research is taking place in the greater Denver area June 9-10, 2014. If you qualify for and participate in the 2-hour discussion, you will receive $125 for your time.
One person will also receive an extra $50 for BEST homework.
We truly value your opinions, and there will be no sales attempts
made as a result of your participation.

Space is limited so please respond as soon as possible.
We look forward to hearing from you!

This research is being conducted by an independent market research firm - please be assured that no sales effort will in any way be involved in this research event, and all information gathered for this research event will be held in the strictest of confidence. Toyota is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell or distribute confidential information to individuals or entities not affiliated with Toyota."

It goes on to say to fill out a survey, if interested, or call the number listed which is a local number.

Ingather is for real. Also, someone in CA posted up recently about the same type of research event, except they were getting $150 there. (WTH). I hope there is still time to educate Toyota on the design of the truck. Otherwise they are just trying to figure out how to sell it more effectively.
