Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the color matched fender flares on my truck have a clear coat on them or if they are just painted and no clear coat?

    Thanks...

There should be a clear coat. The fender covers have a slightly different texture than the metal body, so it looks not as glossy, but that's normal.

They are cleared. They don't shine as good because they are a textured flare. Look that them really close from an angle. You'll see the texture that's preventing them from shinning as much.

Thanks you for the replies. I was using a polish that had a special blend for painted vs. clear.

I think the only one without clear is the SUPER WHITE like mine....That's proven to not be so super! (shiny)
