You would think after she almost hit you that she would be like "oh, maybe I should get off my phone". But nope, that phone was more important. Sucks you were on the receiving end. I doubt your truck has any serious damage. Still sucks though.

The insurance adjuster is supposed to be coming out on Monday some time to get an idea of the extent of the damage. If the estimate is high enough may be time to get some new tires!

    Hell yeah!!

I'd take a free set of tires in exchange for a slightly damaged bumper any day.

Maybe you'll even have enough left over for an All Pro rear bumper.

Agreed. I'm really debating trying my hand at making my own bumper.

The exact same thing happened to me in the same spot! Except it was a 80s Chevy. I won too! It let me get a colored rear bumper and get rid of the chrome. Hahau2yzude4_f61ef686cd3e103100271d89aaf318303449f2c0.jpg

Audi is owned by VW. Toyota doesn't own any part o them. VW also owns Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, and Porsche (if you look at a Lambo, you can see the Audi influence in the Bose audio/nav system. On the R8, the Lambo influence is in the engine placement).

Did you have a hitch? I was hit by a lady doing about 30 and my hitch absorbed all the damage, it actually shifted it forward about 1/8". I ended up getting a new wiring harness for the hitch, and a plate bumper out of the deal and had it Line X'd with the insurance money. (thanks crazy ass lady with no brakes lol)

FYI if you did have a factory hitch with factory wiring harness and it damaged the plug you have to buy a whole new harness which is around $200! For some reason toyota does not sell the plug alone. (at least I couldnt find one) That is if you want to stay with a factory plug.

I do have the factory towing package on my truck. She hit it pretty much straight on, saving grace may be the low speeds involved
