This is a 2009 base cab, 4cyl, Auto. No Pwr anything. Trying to add the Cruise.
Hopefully you fellows are not completely tried of all the CC questions that occured in the 41 pages (now), and will please help with locating the connector E7 behind the Glove box.
I followed that thread to the point of getting a bit confused likely from all the various years being covered. Anyhow, got the stalk installed, no cruise, which is likely the need for the added wires as referenced later in the thread. I was able to finally find S8 under the steering wheel, even though I had been looking at it but didn't recognize until the help from Lerdman photo dated 1.10.14. Thanks!
Sure enough, that confirms the lacking wires, so I was ready to move on,..BUT.
I am not sure about finding the connector I think is E7 at the ECU behind the glove box. The drawing from Taco09 did help, but my stack of connectors has only 4 vertical connectors, and his drawing showed 5, with E7 the 2nd from the bottom. My 2nd to the bottom connector does have the black with shown in Taco09's photo, so I think I am looking at the correct place, but sure do not want to be guessing about adding wires to the ECU!! Can someone help me be sure about the E7 connector? Too bad they don't just mark the things.... at least I don't see any labels.

Tried that, apparently there are many E7 connectors used throughout the Toyota family.
Wish I could post a photo of my ECU.

If this works, the photo shows my ECU, behind the glove box. I believe E7 is the connector 2nd from the bottom in the Right vertical stack. You can see the black/wht stripe wire referenced in that thread, shown in the photo he supplied. (sorry about his photo credit omission)
