Hello! I want to purchase a new Tacoma six cylinder . They sit to tall for the work I do. I carry three hundred pound loads on top of my truck , which has four racks. I have a custom made bracket on the front, a snug top shell and have three racks across the top of the truck. I carry 22 foot 10"x10" boxes. The new 6 cylinders sit 6" taller than the 4 cyl. that I have. Getting older ,lol, and the extra 6" is a stretch for me to get 300 lbs. up there. Is there a way to lower the six to the height of the four? At the dealership , I measured the wheels. On the for= 25" on the 6=30" but the rims are five lug for the four cyl. and 6lug for the 6 cyl. Any thoughts?

The 2wd 4cyl has a completely different suspension than the 6cyl trucks. Cannot recall any suspension mod that will lower a 6cyl truck that much and not ride like a brick. Maybe a small step stool is the answer.
