Bilstein 5100's up front set @ 2.5 inch with 1 inch block in back UPDATE as of 06/14: 4inch rough country upfront with Bilsteins set at .85 for total lift of 4.85 and rear with 2 inch block with Bilsteins 5100's shocks. UPDATE as of 0615 4 inch lift Rough country with Bilsteins set at 2.5 and rear 2 inch add a leaf with 3 inch block sitting on 285/75-17 34's...
I leveled the front with Bilstein 5100's at 2.5 inch with 1 inch block in the back.
I wanting to give it a little bit more height. Was thinking of RCD 4.5 inch or just keeping what I have and doing a 1 inch body lift. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Put your money in a proper lift. Body lifts are a shortcut for street trucks. Useless on a working truck that is used.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
I have a 1" body lift. Added it to my 3" suspension lift (OME). I couldn't be happier.

I offroad plenty and the extra lift did several things for me..
    1) I can fit larger tires without cutting/trimming.
    2) I have aftermarket bampers (ARB front, Procomp rear) that were banging into my body panels on severe offroad and it was unpleasant sounding and causing wear/damage/rust. The body lift seperated the body up 1" from the bumpers (probably visably more like 1/2in). No more loud noises :)

Anyway. I love body lifts. Low cost, great looks (when done correctly). Pretty much no change to the handling since thete is no suspension modifications. And in a way you get greater ground clearance through ability to fit larger tires.

I can hook you up with the guy who made mine. Found him here on TW and he cuts the lifts and puts the kits together in his garage. High quality and low cost. I payed about $65. Took me about two hours to install. Easy. And I have 50k miles on mine now with zero issues, infact it will outlive my suspension lift for certain.
