hey have a 2010 access cad v6 and am having radio reception issues. I haven't removed that radio yet but plan on checking connection there. The antenna connection seems fine but was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and could point me in the right direction not having music is no fun:(

    Stock antenna?

Are you out in the sticks or in a city when this is happening?

Well I wouldnt say the sticks but not a huge city and I have never had reception issues before like this. Its the stock antenna as far as I know to have you ever taken it out of the spot that its mounted in it looks as if you would have to remove the side panel?

You should be able to unscrew the antenna and make sure the base looks good. I don't think you have to take off the fender to get to all the antenna components. I would assume if you remove the fender well plastics you'll be able to get to it. I'm not 100% sure as I've never done this.

    What you can try.

Like you said, pull out the radio and make sure its nice and snug in the HU. Maybe someone didn't push it in all the way.

Check the cable to make sure there are not cuts/binds/tears/rips/etc,etc that could be causing an issue.

Last, find someone that has another antenna that works, try that out and see if it gets better.

If that doesn't fix it you have 1 of 2 issues.

    1. The antenna wiring is bad somewhere under the dash
    2. The HU is having a hardware issue.

    Good luck keep me posted.
