    So we ran angle iron down the side of the bedrail. It hovers just above the plastic cap. The sliders were taken off, so we could use the same holes and bolts. Trimmed a bit of the plastic cap, and reinstalled. Still have full use of tie downs.

    The rack is going to be tacked up hopefully tomorrow

    The horizontal bar in across the back is removable. As an artist, Im always carrying awkward objects and projects, so that bar couldnt be welded. Welded some pins onto the bar, cut two holes for it to sit in and voila.

    Came out great. Probably about 150lbs. 1.5" diameter round tubing. I believe he used 1/8" thick steel. Going to get a fairing cut for the front too.

    Bringing it to my shop tomorrow. Red oxide primer, sand, flat black, flat black. BOOM!

    I did reference the Body Armour sport rack for this. But mine is supported better and engineered smarter I would say
