hi im new I have a question about lifter noise on a 2014

So I have owned 8 toyota pickups some lifted some not ranging from 1989 to now 2014 the question I have is about my second tacoma ive owned that I just bought which is a 2014 tacoma double cab manual v6 trd. Its bone stock and I am noticeing what I think is lifter noise the pickup has 250 miles on it and im hearing a ticking coming from around the lifter valve ares but it could just be that ive never had a puckup so quiet that I can hear the motor working or that maybe the oil they put in it and the dealership is just no good. Oppinions, answers and everthing else welcome thanks.....a new member and life long 26 year old toyota pickup guy....thanks yoyr new buddy hellbilly....ps my 2002 tacoma I built had 5.29s and 6in procomp and was on 37.14.50s

I too have a 2014 Tacoma 4x4 crew cab that makes horrible sounds at cold start up. The dealer says "all new toyotas sound like that". This is my 3rd Tacoma..maybe my last.
