    I bought it at a local Sound Pro and they did do the install. even ran a USB into the glove box.

    Removed Charcoal filter, K&N filter, and that's it until I can save a bit
    Try turning up the brightness for your normal dash lights. Should be a roll knob somewhere on the drivers side.

    Find the "Menu" button and hold it down for 3 seconds. Yours may be different, I have the 4300DVD. Read the manual, it'll tell you.

    I read the manual, and had the installers try to figure it out too. As far as we could all tell it was just a permanent feature so I had them cut the wire that leads to the lights. Now the stereo is on the bright setting all of the time, it's wayyyy better!

    Nice radio! I upgraded mine a few months back and went with pioneer as well. I wasn't let down.
