Ive got a chance to get a pretty good deal on some bf Goodrich 245/75/16 a/t lt tires that have a load range E, Would I notice a big difference from my p rated 265/70/16's on mt 2010 V6 double cab?

Most likely lower MPG with added weight.

The biggest change you will notice is a significantly rougher ride. I'm running load range E LTs on mine and can tolerate the ride. For off road use I prefer a stronger tire. I had P rated tires on an earlier 4x4 and found the sidewalls too soft for offroading (put the top of a tree through one).

Dry pavement grip with the 245 tire will be worse, due to the smaller contact patch and possibly harder tire compound.

Im not at all concerned wit the 20mm difference in the width. 20mm ain't much. I was thinking more of MPG.

20mm make a big difference in looks. I know, I run 245 snow tires. Truck looks worse with dinky narrow tires.

I have been on BFG AT KO's E-rated for 50000 plus miles and the ride is smooth. What's the weight difference between the two tires? Check out tirerack.com and find out.

I just made that switch they really dont look that much different and mine doesn't ride any stiffer. I went from treadwright guarddoggs p rated 265/70 to treadwright wardens e rated 245/75. My speedo isn't off i checked before and after with my gps. I haven't noticed any change in mpg's either.

The spedo wont change, I was more wondering if the mpg would suffer much. Id like to try the stiffer tire if it doesn't hurt anything. I doubt 20mm in the width would even be noticeable

I switched from P bfg long trails to E duratracs and my ride got stiffer and I lost around 1-2 mpg. but truck handles corners better.....stiffer side walls
