So, I purchased a complete set of speakers to upgrade the stereo in my '12 Taco, only to end up needing to sell my Taco last month, before I got around to doing the install. I now have a complete, uninstalled speaker system that I can't use (and that I've owned too long to return for a refund). Here's what's up for sale as a complete kit:

    • MB Quart PVL 269 6"x9" 2-way speakers (pair)
    • MB Quart PVL 216 6 1/2" convertible component speakers (pair)
    • MB Quart RLP 254 10" Reference Dual 4-ohm low-profile subwoofer
    • MB Quart Onyx 980w 5 channel amplifier (4x80 + 500)
    • Taco Tunes 6x9 front speaker mounts
    • Taco Tunes 6 1/2 rear speaker mounts
    • Taco Tunes front and rear screw, washer and bolt kit
    • Taco Tunes front and rear speaker harness
    • Taco Tunes custom tweeter mounts (sized for the MB Quart detachable tweeters from the PVL 269s)

I paid $683 for the speakers and amp, and $165 for the mounting hardware (for a total of $848.00). I'm looking for $400, obo for everything outlined above, plus $50 to cover shipping (total = $450). Everything is in new, unused and uninstalled condition. I did open the box seals to ensure everything was delivered as I had ordered and nothing was damaged, but the items were not removed or installed. These components have been stored in all of their original packaging inside my home since purchase, and don't have any wear or damage of any kind.

I also have a total of (3) three low-profile, Tacoma-specific subwoofer boxes for behind the rear seat that I had made for the MB Quart 254 10" subwoofer. One is black fabric and two are gray fabric (I received extras due to shipping errors from the manufacturer, Sound Off Audio). I will include a subwoofer box of your choice for $40 additional, if desired (I purchased for $100), plus $25 to cover shipping (total = $65 ea.). These are also brand-new and unused.

I'll respond to posts or PMs with questions or offers. Thanks for your interest!

Oh, and yes, many of these shots are obviously stock photos... I didn't want to un-pack all of these speakers just to take photos. I would prefer to keep them new and in the box as they are now. :)

Thanks, and sorry I missed you. Yeah, this should be everything needed to do a full audio upgrade, minus cables and a new head unit (if desired). I bought it all specifically for the Taco, so someone here should get a nice deal. :)

I've got mb quarts in the front and rear of my 13 tacoma and they sound great. So that is a very good price if someone needs them

Thanks for all the interest, guys. Finished-up a deal with MO13 tonight, who was close enough he could drive and pick everything up. Nothing is left for sale. And MO13 has all three sub boxes now, so if you want one, give him a shout... he might have one or two to sell!

Ditto that, Marc. Was great to meet you, and you've got a badass Taco. Best of luck on the install!
