    new radio, new door speakers...
So i 'm new to forum post but I'm not new to reading on TW's post from its great and friendly community so excuse my "noobness".

Now down to business. So I put in an aftermart radio in my 99 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner X-tra Cab and my rear speakers stopped working. I checked all my wire connections on the wire harness and they are all good and solid so then I thought they may have blown so I put the stock radio back in and and they worked. I plugged themy JVC up and they stopped again. I had a buddy with a ford who had the same problem and he had to buy new speakers and rewire them to the radio completely and I'm wondering if that's my case or if y'all have another solution? Please let me know as soon as possible what I should do or what you think I should do. Thank you and god bless!

Run a set of wires off the JVC and plug it back in. Hook up another speaker to the JVC and see if it works.

If yes: You have a wiring problem.

If no: your JVC rear outputs could be fried. (or it could be a setting you are missing to enable to rear speakers???)

My 4runner had a factory amp just for the rear speakers and I had to hook up the remote wire.maybe you have a rear amp?
