What wheel colors are here to stay?

Curious to see your opinions here.

There was a time when I thought the MT Classic Lock II was the best looking wheel around. I still think they look great, and am really sad that they're discontinued. These look like a cool, youthful update to the MT, but it got me wondering if these colors are all just fads.

I honestly don't know if I would put the original classic locks on now, with so many gunmetal and bronze wheels, they seem a little outdated. Too chromey.

My opinion; chrome is now exclusively a retro look, as things these days are always in danger of being too blingy.

Bronze is a cool, unique look, but could that just be a fad?

Gunmetal is here to stay. Guns will always be sexy.

What do you guys think?

I really like the black look, but out of the 4 people at my work including me, 2 of them already have black rims on white trucks. I just can't be the 3rd guy to roll in with a white truck and black rims.

Black rims are all over the place, I just want to be a little different. I am rolling stock off road rims which I like, but I have been eyeing matte bronze lately, I have never seen them on the road.

I like going against the grain a little bit, so bronze it just might be down the road.

 

I think bronze makes for a good looking wheel. My next set will probably be bronze. Black is good as well since it looks good on about anything. Chrome is definitely becoming an outdated look IMO.

 

Not a fan of all black. However black with machined accents looks nice.

 

I'm with you here man. Everyone and their mother has black rims where I live, the only uniqueness is whether or not they are matte. And I'm also looking at some bronze, it looks classy with the super white!
