My alarm has randomly gone off a few times on its own over the last few weeks. I know nobody has been trying to break into the truck, the last time it went off i was standing in my kitchen and could see that nobody was out messing with it. Last night i didnt arm the alarm i manually locked the doors and it hasnt gone off.

The radio has turned off by itself a few times while driving. A few times when the radio turns back on my presets are erased.

Yesterday i pushed the unlock button on my remote and the alarm started going off, i put the key in and started it to get the alarm to stop, when i started the truck all of the radio presets were erased again.

My passenger side foglight stopped working, i put a new bulb in but it still wont work.

My factory 6 cd changer died a while ago and i replaced it with a new cd player/radio. It works fine im just putting the info out incase it could have something to do with the alarm.

My battery is only 2 years old. The tacoma is a 2005 with 136k miles.

Could be the alarm system itself. Try disconnecting it for a few days and see if any of the other problems go away. I have heard that most aftermarket alarms only have a lifespan of 3-5 years.

    Some stuff...
One of the Cats at work bought a beautiful Jeep a few years back and has had nothing but electrical issues (Gremlins) with it. GM has stuck it in his ass to the tune of $1K+ even thought it was a warranty issue.

He told me last week he's done, and trading it in...... on a Tacoma! :)

There are some schematics at this link . http://www.customtacos.com/tech.old/files/05FSM/repair.html
Scroll down to the alarm and the radio diagrams and have a peek to see whats common between the electrical circuits . A circuit sharing the same fuse is my guess but as mentioned above , check the easy stuff like corrosion and bad grounds first
