Hello, I just bought my 2005 TRD Sport Access cab a few weeks ago, and it came with a nice looking Leer Cap with a Thule Ski rack. I'm not in need of it, I'd rather just have the bed open.

My question's are, since I'm looking to sell it.
    What model is it?
How much might it be worth?

It's in great shape, just a couple small scratches on the top, the inside is carpeted, all the side and front windows are all sliders, the side ones have screens, there is also a cargo net on top. It has two interior lights, the front one works, the rear one's switch got busted so I haven't even tried that one out. There's a little condensation in the taillight.

About the ski rack, I know these don't cost a whole lot, but it would come with it as it's mounted to the top. I don't know much about it. I have keys for everything.

    Thanks!

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
What you have is a LEER 100R, that is evident by the aluminum frame rear window, 2 lock handles, and that shape of side window. There should be an ID tag just inside the rear window to the left where the wires are, not sure if that says what model though. I owned one on my 2006 and paid about $1300 for it new. That was a good cap and I really liked it, I upgraded to a 100XL for my newer truck. You have more accessories that I had, the rack and roof net will add a couple of hundred to the price new. See if you have little clips around the inside edge of the front window frame, that will determine if you have a slider or a slider + removable window, it came either way. If it's removable, that adds another $80 to the new purchase price. I actually added my removable window later, I was tired of not being able to clean my rear window.

I would guess that its worth half of new price maybe $800, but that's just a guess. The problem you will have is finding a guy who wants one and has the same color truck. To the right guy, he will be thrilled to find a good used one in nice shape.

It looks like a bike rack and the other side for a canoe or surf board. You can sell that stuff on Ebay, doesn't have to stay with the rails. You do need to take the other parts off the rails. They need to go with the towers so someone can then attach it to there rails.

Cool! Thanks for all of the info. I know it may be difficult to find the right buyer, but it would be nice to have some cash for some things I want to do to it.

Are the mounts on the rails something that is going to work on other Leer rails, or is it universal? About what would the rack be sold for separately?

Sorry at 1st look I thought the cross bars were round, (which would be Yakima) these are flat and is a Thule rack system.

    Hey Joe,

I'm looking for a super white 5' topper, and I can tell you my max $ in my search is about 800-1000 (depending on model and location).

Like Lynd said, finding a person who wants a topper and has that color truck and you'll get your full price, especially if you find somebody in a 300 mile radius.
