older bilsteins at 1.75; cranking to 2.5?

    i searched didn't find anything.. these aren't new shocks... maybe ~ 85k miles.. i feel they are still riding ok... but i wanted to set them at 2.5 just while i have them... no reason to buy brand new if these aren't shot.. but i guess i just wanted to hear from someone that says.. yea its ok ( don't just say it) anyone with knowledge with this? ... once these go.. i'm going to ebach coils and bilsteins ..

    If the shocks are still good, why not? However, the only true way to tell is to take the coils off the shock and see if they still have positive pressure. Collapse the shock and it should extend on it's own. If it stays collapsed, it's done.
