Wheel fitment question

Hi All.
Has anyone ever ran 16" steel wheels from a first gen Tacoma(01-04) on a second gen? I got an old set and would like to use them as a second set for the winter but when i did a test fit I saw that they had a very very slight rub on the break caliper. I noticed that the stock wheels have very little clearance as well. Any help would be appreciated.
