I've posted this in a few other sections but have not gotten any responses. I will be driving from Montana to Idaho to Oregon and back down home to California.

I have about 10 days to make the journey and will be camping throughout the journey. Anyone have ideas on routes / places to visit? I'm not looking to camp in actual camp grounds, I prefer solitude.

I'll be traveling with just one car and my gf, would like to try to keep the hard core off roading to a minimum. But would love to see remote places.

    Any opinions appreciated.

    Thanks

What route are you taking from Montana? 90? Where are you starting in Montana?

Sorry, that might be useful. Lol.

Starting in either Bozeman or Conner, MT.

And have one requirement in that we want to pass through La Grande, OR to meet a friend.

Beavis, thanks. Will review as soon as I get off work.

Oh, I remember that post! I think it was right before I got my truck and I was thinking,

"damn, I wanna do something like that."

    I cheated, it's lunch time.

    Haha
