    I kept meaning to post these pics of my truck at 12000' but never got around to it. This was in July of 2011 on one of the Jeep trails near Durango CO (Kennebec Pass). Great stuff.

    Great pictures. I just got back from this area. I was going to do this same pass but changed up my plans a little just before I left.

    Chopped mud-flaps (yup, I'm hardcore)
    There aren't a lot of people that talk much about Kennebec. I guess because it really isn't a trail at all, more like a rough road. But I love it up there. It is absolutely gorgeous.

    Glad to see a fellow TW member hanging out in the San Juans.

    I'd expect there is snow preventing a summit but it's close and there is some camping there as well. Leave durango west on HW160 for 12.5 miles. Turn right on CR124 and travel 3-4 miles on a paved road. It'll turn to dirt and start winding up.
    This is a view of the east side summit from my house this morning.
