Went by the Sears in Ft. Lauderdale, total turd-world shithole staffed by complete morons, walked out. Called the Boca Sears, kid tells me they are short-handed and takes my name and number to supposedly call me back in 10 minutes. Never heard back from him. And somewhere there's a Sears executive wondering why they are going out of business...

There's a Firestone place right near my work. I think I'm just going to get the Revo 2s. I should be able to walk in and get what I want from them.

Not sure who you are talking too BUT Discount Tire Direct has AT2's and they use 2 shops in Boca; AMF Tire and Boca RatonTire Center...AND I totally agree with Sears service...exactly why they are going down...internet has everything BUT call there and they want to sell stock ONLY SOL..to that sale..

Not sure who put "discount" in their name but those prices are higher than the local price for tires I've shopped.

I am going to try to stop in Firestone today and see what I can do about some Revo2s and try to use Tire Rack prices to get them down. Having to beat up an online vendor with real-world pricing seems bass ackwards to me.

I took the Tacoma out wheeling on some local Class 6's today and the more I drive on these AT2's the more I like them.....:)

NH roads are usually a mix of everything from smooth gravel with rocks galore to washboard areas abound due to our rain and then off camber "Mud-holes" to keep it interesting...

The AT2's handled it all quite well....no caking up in the mud, never a thought of spinning and what few rocks tried to stay in for "noise" effect were quickly dismissed....

Sidewalls were never in question as we drove over small ledge croppings or the large roots that the rain has exposed and with the Bora spacers now in place...my UCA's will give those sidewalls "breathing room" ;)....

I know this is a really old thread but since I was looking to buy a set of AT2s tomorrow does everybody still like the tires? Did they wear well? How was the E rated ride ?

I've got the Standard Load Grabber AT2s in 265/70/16 with 45K miles on them and they've done everything I've asked them to do. They still have 7/32 of tread left, but I'll be getting new ones this fall just before hunting season ( I get new tires every three years). They are awesome in the snow and have been great on all of the logging/forest roads (every condition imaginable) in northern Maine. I'm up there for most of October & November each year. They use a lot of shale and I've never cut a tire. I've busted through a couple of inches of ice on flooded/frozen sections of roads.....never cut a tire.

I am changing to Toyo Open Country AT2s (C Load Range) this fall....mainly because I want to go one size larger (265/75/16) without going to a Load Range E tire. I expect similar performance from the Toyos.

Thanks for the responses, I picked up the Grabbers in the SL rated 265/70/17 and got them installed today. It was only a few KM trip back from the Garage but I really liked the ride and they look great on the truck compared to the Duellers that came off !

All in all with install they worked out to over $350 cheaper than the BFGs and I cant find a bad review for them yet...
