Got these wheels on my 2012 tacoma, got like that from the dealership. Anyone have any idea what they are? The guy at Toyota said it was the first year those wheels were available, don't know anything else about them.

I'm in Corpus and have seen them only on one tacoma and on craigslist once as well. Nearly bought them on CL and powder coated them. Hopefully someone can chime in bc I'm not sure. Cool though.

I've got those same wheels on my '13 DCSB SR5 V6 PreRunner. I had the same questions as the OP when I first got my truck, because these wheels did not seem to be a common stock wheel for Tacomas. Apparently, these are the wheels that the Gulf States Toyota dealerships will put on the non-TRD Tacomas as an "alloy wheel upgrade" from the standard steel wheels. I actually just posted a new thread asking another question about these same wheels. The back of these wheels have a stamp indicating a max tire diameter of 31". I'm wanting to put 265/75/16 tires on these wheels and I'm curious why they are stamped stating this max tire diameter, and if a tire size such as 265/75/16 will present issues down the road.

But I've got ~12K miles on my Tacoma and haven't had any problems or complaints with the wheels, so they appear to be decent enough, as far as stock wheels go. Only thing I might point out is that to get the center cap off, you will need an allen key (can't remember exactly what size off hand) to remove the set screws. Only two of the set screws are real, the rest are just fake plastic ones for looks, I guess.

I have seen those wheels here in Texas on a few Tacomas. My dealership has some new trucks on the lot with these wheels on them. I kind of like them.
