...or so the instructions seem to say. Maybe it was just me.

I just pulled the trigger on a 2012 Taco so I guess it's time to introduce myself. I am a confirmed gearhead. I've been an auto mechanic in a previous life so I have tools and understand *most* of what goes on with vehicles, though a lot of the newest updates are after my time as a professional.

I have an STi as my 'toy', and had a Honda Fit as my daily driver until a few weeks ago when it was demolished in a hailstorm. We've been thinking for a while about getting a utility vehicle for around the house, and this seemed to be a good opportunity to finally do it. I'm not commuting as far or as often as I used to, so the mileage hit from Fit -> Taco should not be too much of a hit to the wallet. And the truck is surprisingly comfortable on the road so I don't expect to feel beat up at the end of my 'long' days on the road. It took quite a while to find the right truck at the right price - around here anyway, these trucks really hold their value.

I pick it up Monday. I hope I got a good truck. From what I've seen of this forum so far, I'm sure I've picked a good one of those.

Thanks! I'm in the east as well, Pennsylvania. I go to NJ for work once a week. That's the long commute I talked about.
