Ive got a slight Wrrr when I turn the wheel like if the level is low but ive got good level. It steers fine with no issues at all. The power steering fluid is probably what came in the truck, its nasty. I thought I would drain it out and replace the fluid just because its so bad. Is there a place to drain the system or just break a line loose? I would really like to drain the rack also if I could. Has anybody done this or have some recomendations?

Unhook the line on the side of the reservoir, that is the return. Plug the nipple the line came off of. Fill reservoir and turn wheels back and forth, engine off. A fuel line in the open end of the return line down to a catch pan helps. I think there is a sticky or info on this here somewhere.

Maybe you just need to clean screen in reservoir. Not hard to do either.

Clean the screen or you are wasting your time.
Do both, new fluid and screen clean.
