Got the camera body! Going to the gym and gonna see if the stub shaft is in the mailbox yet.

 

Alright, tested out the camera. This is the in camera HDR. The only post processing was turning down the highlights. That just gives the clouds a extra bit of depth that is normally lost. JPEG as well...as always .

Also I highly suggest you pick up one of these gorilla pods Josh. I have been dicking around with mounting the broken NEX all week to random things. Pretty nifty and I doubt I will be hauling around my other tripod anymore. It would be perfect to take with on hikes or on a dirt bike ride. I put it on a fence post today to take the shot above.

And Brent its probably similar. The smaller ones cost quite a bit less. The huge honker for DSLRs is like $40 or $50. I was gonna get that for insurance that it would hold the camera but this does just fine. I got it sitting on the fence outside for some sunset/night photos

That'd be cool, i won't be ordering til tomorrow now anyways my check isn't in my account yet. But pretty sure i'm gonna go with the Sigma 19mm. I looked at some photo comparisons to the Sigma 30mm and i liked the 19mm results alot better. Is your zoom a Sony lense?

Well I am tearing the truck down tomorrow so if it shows tomorrow you can come grab it if the truck isn't back up. If it comes in when I can drive just let me know and we can make a short run out some where to shoot.
