I have a brand new '14 trd off road, after about 10k miles the leaf springs started squeaking. It got to the point where the McDonalds Drive through servers were laughing at me as I pulled up. Took it to the Toyota dealership and they replaced them for free. Now 8k miles later (about a month) they are starting to squeak again, but only noticeable when I get in and out of the truck. Ive tried giving them a good pressurized wash but it doesnt seem to help. Anything I need to know? I dont see the point in replacing them again if they are just going to get noisy after I put some work into the truck.

I used to have the same problem.

I would just hammer a large flat head screwdriver between the leafs to open a gap where the friction pads are. Then spray each pad with a Teflon silicone lubricant. It would relieve the squeak for a few months.

I went to walmart and bought a bicycle tire. Cut the tire into pieces and slide them in between the springs using a screwdriver to pry them apart. I would recommend putting some kind of adhesive on them as mine stayed in about 6-8 months before they came out.
