Lower passenger ball joint gone and the whole control arm had to be replaced at $1200 - 107,000k

I can see the future and it is expensive :(

Too many to list. See build page. Link in signature
Why would you buy an oem LCA for $1200??? You can get aftermarket for the same price probably cheaper and 10000× better. Also, how do you have 107k on a 2012 ?? a used LCA on here is probably dirt cheap and would have worked just as well

Some folks use guns to rob people and others just prey on our ignorance which we all have. I would say this is an expensive lesson. The thing is be sure you have learned so as not to be taken again. Mark this up as educational expenses and adopt the following.
Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. ;)

Company vehicle and I called two other garages who didn't bother to get back to me. Just making the observation; Didn't come out of my pocket. And yes if it was my vehicle I would have done it myself.
    Relax :)

So you post about spending an exorbitant amount of money on cheap parts, people are dumbfounded and you tell them to relax and that it's not your money?

I am assuming since the OP is in Canada the "k" would stand for kilometers. Also, if the OP was listing the amount as assumed miles the OP's post of 107,000k would actually be 107,000,000 miles since "k" usually defines 1,000 in American speak.
