I tried to get each groomsman a different gift based upon what they like as a person. My best man is a hardcore mountain biker, so I got him a nice camelbak with his name embroidered on it. My brothers are all guitar players so each of them got an engraved guitar tuner and strap, my BIL is big into sports so he got a jersey to wear after the wedding. And of course, we all got a cigar.....

I find its more useful and there is no rule saying each person needs to get the same thing. With all the time and money they spent on me for the wedding, I wanted to make sure each of them got something they will use.

This. I did something similar, but I did old school vintage tins, all personalized. One buddy is a pilot, I got him an "Tyler's Alaskan bushplane pilot service" Another guy runs a golf course, "Scott's 19th hole" One is huge into BBQ, so he got a bbq one. They ran anywhere from about $40 to $80. Not to pat myself on the back or anything, but I thought they were really cool.

I was broke and had 6 groomsmen, so I gave them each a pretty new nalgene bottle stuffed full of shooters. Came in handy as we were prepping.

I got a custom bottle opener that was engraved with my name. It's once of those titanium fancy ones. Really thought it was a cool gift.
