I've got a 2003 Tacoma Prerunner. I got sideswiped recently by another truck (hit & run) by my front passenger tire. I had to change my lower tie rod, but when I took my truck to get it aligned, I was told that my right steering arm was bent and that I needed to put in a new one. My question is whether this is a relatively easy fix and if I need any special tools? Any other tips? Thanks from Hawaii!

It is relatively easy. Just make sure you mark your alignment prior to removing the control arm. Most people seem to have better luck with OEM, but you can find some decent aftermarket ones too.

there pretty good priced on rockauto. Its a pretty simple swap unless your caster/camber sleeves are seezed in the bushings. If that's the case cutting them out and replacing them is the only route. When I did mine the driver side sleeves were seezed in there good and had to cut them out yet the passenger side came right apart no problems at all.
