I did a search and couldn't find what I needed. I noticed that some of the new Tundra's come with a Hydraulic Tail Gate release. It keeps the tail gate from slamming down. Does anyone know if we can put this on a new Tacoma? Can the Tundra unit be altered or is there an aftermarket company making such a thing?

OK the key word was 'EZ Down'. Looks like a lot of unhappy customers. Guys are pull these off after a week or less. Binding up the tail gate. Maybe this was a bad idea. Any positive feedback?

    Yeah.
From what I recall, Redline gets this kit from another supplier but is working on their own. I like my hood struts, but I didn't do the tailgate. Maybe wait for Redline to come up with something.
