Well, we finally bought a new 2014 Tacoma on 3/29, really like the truck... except for the vibration at 45 and 75 mph. Didn't notice it till driving home, have taken it back to the dealer 4 times, no resolution yet.

Reading a number of threads here has given me some ideas, hopefully I can post a solution soon!

Thank you! I just picked it up from the dealer in Murfreesboro, TN. Waiting to hear back from Toyota Corp and Service dept as to when the factory service tech will be in the area.. If all else fails, maybe I'll swap driveshafts... but I really shouldn't have to do that with less than 500 on the clock now.

Yeah brother. Sucks. I feel ya. Shouldn't be too big of a problem to fix outta the dealer. If they can't fix use the lemon law.

Wasting time taking it to dealer. I left mine over night ...it is common and eventually you will not notice. The drives haft is what they claims is causing problem. When you put truck in 4 we you do not feel vibration. Vibration is also more obvious when it's cold

Curious if it could possibly be unbalanced wheels.... just a hunch... idk... what does the vibration feel like?

You absolutely shouldn't have to swap drive shafts on a truck with 500 miles. That is a warranty fix

My 12 had a very slight hum at about 45mph when I first got it, but within about the first 1000miles it smoothed out nicley. My 14 was brand new and has no vibes at all

Work with Toyota, if they don't fix it, lemon laws may apply

Thanks for all the replies. A bit more info about the truck and situation.
It's a 2wd pre runner sr5 v6. Vibration in steering wheel, floor and seats, kind of a buzzing around 45 and 75 mph.

Visits to the dealer after the purchase, for the vibration and scratched window
Drove the truck home Saturday, called them Sunday about the vibes and window, was instructed to bring it in on Monday.
    VISITS:
    1. window ordered, tire pressure was low, shouldn't vibrate now
    2. still vibrates, tires balanced..
    3. still vibrates, tires road force balanced....drove 2 other tacomas, both had vibes at the same speeds, one was really bad... they were in the process off selling it before I left the dealership that day. They were all built Dec 2013, wonder if the big year end push to get them out the door might have something to do with this issue?
    4. still vibrates, more people involved, a tech swapped the wheels and tires out with 17" off a 4 wheel drive, still vibrates so not the wheels or tires.
    5. met with owner, assured me that they will get to the bottom of this and take care of it... if they can. Window has been replaced,

I am leaving out many phone calls to the dealer, techs and Toyota, where we now have a claim number and a case worker. We started out with 24 miles on the clock, now it has over 600 miles, all from driving back and forth to the dealer.. not to mention our time (leaving work early) and cost of fuel

The field service tech should be in the area next week, I really hope he doesn't just brush it off as a characteristic of the truck as we really like it.

Hopefully you can find a fix. I had taken mine in 4 times and been good friend with owner does not help so I stopped going. The techs finally advised me that it was due lift on my baja from factory. They claimed that I shouldn't worry since I have 7 year warranty and they will document. I verified it's documented and was on my way. I'd be honest...I can barely tell now at 8000 miles or a little over. But again the last time I was there was in winter ...early January. I wanted gas and did not like all the techs driving my truck so called quits and still happy with truck. I also noticed that all the tacoma at the dealership started adding exhaust tips to truck..maybe to help deadened vibrations a little. Mine is a Baja 2013 as well. My 2012 did not have this issue

So, the field tech from Toyota finally had time to look at our truck last week.. He told my wife that vibration we are feeling is a characteristic of the Tacoma, but the report stated that no issues were found.

Here is the response from Toyota customer service..
