Getting new tires and almost all of my off roading is on the beach. So I'm looking for the best tires for soft sand. Bellow are the 2 tires I'm looking at getting. Any input would be great.

    I prefer the general.
Pros to them is cheaper. And there a softer compound that the bfgs so for me that good cuz for snow they won't harden as quick.
    And they bite real nice
The con's to the generals is again there softer so they feather real quick so u have to rotate then often
I like the generals a lot. But I'm not sure for sand if harder or softer compound is better. I never offroaded in sand.

I've run both on my truck, and the Generals are pretty much a cheaper version of the BFG AT. The tread lugs are very similar, and provide just as much traction as its BFG counterpart. If you wanna buy a name get the BFG.. if you want to save a little money, but keep the same performace, get the Generals.

The tread lugs are not similar. You must be looking at the Grabber AT2. I'm referring to the Grabber not the Grabber AT2.

I currently have the General Grabbers. They are remarkable in steep grades and mud.
