After saving for a while, I've finally saved enough to get some much needed suspension. I've been trying to make a list so I have an idea of how much I'll be spending.

    Going for:
Bilstein 5100 Height Adjustable Shocks for the front
Bilstein rear struts (don't know what sub model or if there are better ones out there)
    OME 881 Coils
    AAL's (brand recommended?)
New upper and lower ball joints (I see people recommend MOOG)
    New tie-rods (brand recommended)

I have a couple of questions. For the shocks, do they come with everything I need? Will I have to re-use some stuff? Also, where is the best place, price wise, to buy the shocks, coils, etc. The stuff like ball joints and tie rods will most likely be bought from rockauto.com.

The truck will pretty much never be used off-road (only time off the pavement will be going to the city dump lol). I've been searching and the combo above is the set up a lot of people here go with and are pleased with the results so I figured I couldn't go wrong with them. Any help is appreciated.

Also looking for the best place to get bilsteins and coils. Just installed some new leafs and the back end is sitting high with my old front suspension. finish-10-2_84c6be97669d2e49adcff969535cc13cfc185b5b.jpg

If you want to lift your truck, then this kit will do you right... http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/Bilstein-Adjustable-lift-kit-with-5100-shocks-_p_1137.html. But if want to save money for other truck things I recommend you stay stock with the new shocks and buy a quality set of stock height leaf springs, and from what I've heard, anything is better quality than Toyota. I bought a stock set from Deaver in CA thinking that Deaver made them, but they are made by Dallas Spring, and shipped from Dallas, TX. They will be installed at the end of July when Bilstein has a shipment of rear 5100's ready to send out. So, if you can find some rear 5100 series shocks in your neck of the woods, snatch 'em up.
Get new mounting hardware for the shocks. They sometimes tend to seize up and cutting is the only option, and make sure you have new top bushing kits for the front strut assemblies.
As far as which vendors for the best price, that I can't say, that's up to you. I like Toytec because they're local and a good bunch of people, and I can talk to them face to face instead of over the phone or online. For me, that's worth a few extra bucks. I've seen people around here like Down South Motorsports and Wheelers, or look around your area for a shop to maybe start doing business with.
Good luck Brandon, looking forward to seeing how it turns out!
