CV into DEFF. is shaking/racking help pls.

greetings all,my CV into the differential is racking only when i hold it and shake it with my hands,is that normal ? the cv not making any noise while driving or there is no sound from the DEFF. area when driving ,i was thinking if there is some bearing on the inner part of the CV into the DEFF. is going bad ,any ideas what to check for or how to solve this problem ??? my vehicle is a 02 taco. 5vz engine 4wd.

 

The cv axles do have a little play. If you drive it and no vibration or sound then they are prob in right. If still not sure id recommend taking to drive train shop and have them look. I thought the same thing when i did mine and took it in and they said it was all good.
