Engine Immobilizer Alert Light

    Any thoughts on why this alert light would be activated after having the truck for 6 months? I can't think of anything I've done differently. Can the key somehow become decoded? It still starts the engine. It's a 2014 2x4. Manual info on page 81. Thanks. Dave

    I thought that the light flashed all of the time when the door was locked and the key was out?

    Ha! maybe.. But I never noticed it before. We'll see what others might have to say. I found some older posts/threads which seem to indicate that others have had it just pop up out of no where in the past. Thanks Lynd.
