Sorry guys, I know this topic has been beat to death, and I've done a lot of research both on here and on all the manufacturers websites, BUT:

I just bought a 2014 TRD Offroad. I want a 3" coil kit. I do not want a spacer lift. I want a kit that will accommodate 32's or preferably 33's on 16's and I want it to perform. I do a lot of trail riding and some of the trails have technical sections that have been scraping my undercarriage (not bad, but I hate it anyway). It's also my DD, so that's a semi-factor.

I've been looking at the 3" kits on toytec, and can't figure out which one is best for what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to stay under $1500, so the icon kit is not an option.

From my understanding, with the 5100 kit, 5100's with stock coils set to the max will obtain the lift I want, but will only have 1 inch of down travel. With aftermarket coils and the lowest setting, I'll need top plate spacers to get the 3 inches. This kit costs $650 and I think the coils are not assembled on the shock, so I can't install it myself. have to add install cost from the shop

The toytec ultimate kit seems like a good buy, but I've seen both good and bad reviews in other threads, so am not totally sure how to feel about it. I know a guy running the ULK on his TRD sport with stock wheels and he likes it, but I don't think he goes off road that much. This kit costs $1179

There is a "BOSS" kit too, which from my understanding requires UCA's. Is this right? if so, is this true for the ULK too? This kit costs $1229

The OME kit seems to require top plate spacers as well and possibly UCA's. It also does not appear to have coils assembled on the shocks, so I'd have to pay install cost at the shop as well here. This kit costs $755

There's another ultimate kit for $1250 with radflo coil overs that I know nothing about.

It's my understanding, except for the OME kit and Radflo ultimate kit, that these kits come with 5100's. I do not understand the difference (if there is one) between top plate spacers and the spacers used in spacer lifts.

I'm trying to find out which lift will give me the best suspension setup for actual off road use, and which one will be the most comfortable, as well as least potential to damage my truck. I also need some help understanding when UCA's are necessary and what the difference is between spacer lifts and top plate spacers. I could also use a recommendation from anyone who has experience with one of, or multiple of these kits. If one of these kits is not the answer, and I should wait a year and save for one of the icon ones, I'll accept that advice as well, but please pair it with a suggestion for which one of those makes sense for me.

Sorry again for bringing up such a common topic, but I did the best I could to learn from everyone else's posts. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Icon or King would be good choice . The do it once and do it right applies to this.

Ok. Is it worth the price to wait until I can get a stage 4 or is it better value to get stage 2 or 3?

It's probably gonna be at least a year. Which is a bummer but if it's that much better then I don't think I have much of a choice?

There's not enough bandwidth for what's happening.
King, Fox, or Icon co's for the front with OME Dakar leaf pack and appropriate shocks in the back (Icon, OME, Bilstein, etc.)

Do it once, do it right. Along those lines, get ext. travel co's AND GET UCA's!

LR UCA's can be had for under 400 brand new. IMHO, they're necessary if you want a PROPER alignment and performance.

If the stage 4 comes with the heimed joints it's a waste of money IMO. Go full OME front to back,

I've had two different OME kits prior to putting Icons on. I agree that it's the best option for the money. Still, get UCA's. :)

The stage 3 and 4 kits come with UCA's. Better to use those or get the Stage 1 or 2 kit and get LR UCA's and DAKAR leaf? Is the icon AAL in the stage 4 kit not as good as the dakar pack? Tough to understand, considering it's a 3500 dollar kit. Would think they'd make stage 4 all top of the line.
