Never heard of them... But a lighter battery on a motorpickle or quad seems to be a good thing to me... :notsure:

Just my opinion: For a starting battery, nothing is going to dump the amps needed quickly like a lead acid or it's related cousins. Remember that no matter what you do a battery in a vehicle is abused. Subjecting them to heat and cold constantly just isn't good for them. Buy a cheap battery that has the needed amperage to start your truck and save your money.

They seem to focus on starting, rather than power reserve. If you run a high power stereo, or off road lights, I would think the battery could be toasted pretty easy. And 720 CCA's isnt much. I try to keep a battery in my truck with 900CCA's or more.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
When the technology checks out I'll buy several of these.

You might confirm that your vehicle's charging system and battery charger will produce the battery manufacturer's recommended absorption and float charging voltages. Li-Ion has a better capacity (amp hour/RC) per weight ratio and lower self-discharge rate than lead-acid, but at a much higher cost. The minimum performance (CCA), should based on the coldest temperature you operate your vehicle in. If you want to use a sealed "dry" battery, you might also consider a flat plate or spiral wound AGM VRLA battery.

For additional information on lead-acid batteries, please see Sections 7 and 9 in the Car and Deep Cycle Battery FAQ on www.batteryfaq.org.

I have no problems starting in the winter with the OEM battery. Looking at Li-ion more for the weight savings. Something like the YTX12-24:

    720 CCA
    22 Amp Hours
    weight is only 5.0 lbs

If you are using your truck for racing and it matters that much. But my heavy battery works just fine for my sound addiction and my truck starting.

Nice. Well, until it hits the market, we are still on Lithium.
